From the moment I met Jake at his Pre-Session Consultation, I knew this was going to be a great session. He walked in with energy, confidence, and an easygoing attitude that instantly set the tone. Jake has that rare mix of charisma and authenticity that makes people naturally drawn to him, and it came through in every image we captured.

From the start of his session, Jake showed strength and charm in front of the camera. He was relaxed, genuine, and carried himself with a calm confidence that photographs beautifully. His outfits transitioned perfectly from casual and comfortable to dressy casual, then into his football jersey, and finally his letterman jacket. Each one capturing a different part of who he is.

Jake’s passion for football runs deep, so naturally, we incorporated that into his portraits.

One of his favorite requests was an image that looked like he was painted onto the side of the white barn. I created two versions, one of Jake in his football jersey and another that was a total surprise. I went back into my archives and found a photo of Jake from 8th grade when he played for KYFL from a Photo Day that I hosted for the league. Seeing the look on his and his parent's faces when they realized what I had done was priceless. That moment alone made my day.

We wrapped up the session with the golden sunset peeking through the trees, Jake wearing his letterman jacket with that same quiet confidence that started the session. Capturing Jake’s personality and creating these images for him and his family was one of those sessions that remind me exactly why I love what I do.

Jake, you have a bright future ahead of you! Keep that drive and determination. It’s going to take you far. Enjoy your Senior Year and keep making those memories that will last a lifetime.
