I’ve known Maddyx since she was little, having driven her on my school bus in elementary school. She always had a smile on her face and took good care of her little sister.
Maddyx was one of my favorite kids to chat with, and she still is! When Maddyx and her mom reached out to me to create her Senior Portraits, I was thrilled. It was a blast capturing such a sweet girl's senior pictures.
Maddyx’s Senior Portrait session took place in the studio including several backdrop options coordinating with her style and outfits.
I worked closely with Maddyx to create the perfect photo collection reflecting her personality, from sassy to elegantly graceful.
After seeing her outfit choices, I decided on the pink backdrop, making this series of her collection pop with color and her spunk! Another outfit choice featured a lovely pink dress, so I chose a white background and chair to create an elegant feel.
For some more casual images, Maddyx was looking smart in her blue gingham, white blouse and ripped blue jeans. We decided on a coordinating edgy blue-gray backdrop creating a classic look to add to her collection.
As we moved through the session, I had Maddyx jump into The Box, so that we could simultaneously create a Box Collage that included a variety of outfits and props. We made sure to include her favorite cheer bows, her first cheerleading outfit, and her cap and gown. Her finished Box Collage perfectly expresses her personality and her journey to where she is today.
We also included some Loft images, which focused on her love for cheerleading. The Loft is a classic, timeless image, and is beautiful of Fine Art Canvas or Metal in your home. Maddyx brought her favorite poms and bows and showed off some of her best moves.
She has a wonderful passion and talent for cheer, and has won many awards throughout her life. Cheer is a very important part of her entire family, so creating images reflecting this passion was very important during her session. Her family loves the images, and I was so honored to capture their sweet girl’s senior pictures.
You are going to do amazing things, Maddyx! I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for you. Congratulations on your graduation from Kaneland High School, I am so proud of you!
