Senior Spotlight: Katie, Class of 2026

Katie is the kind of young lady you cannot help but admire. Soft spoken and humble, with a beautifully feminine presence, she carries herself with quiet confidence. Behind her gentle nature is a competitor with grit, a fierce softball player whose passion shines as brightly as her smile.

Her senior session took place at one of my favorite settings, the White Barn Property. It is a location filled with texture, light, and charm, and Katie brought it all to life with her style and grace.

Classic Style with Rustic Charm

We started in front of the rustic dark wood wall, rich with character. Katie’s first outfit was a timeless choice, simple and classic, perfectly suited to the backdrop. The contrast between her feminine look and the strength of the wood created images that felt both strong and elegant.

Light and Airy by the Silo

From there, Katie changed into a sweet sweater paired with a stylish wrap skirt and trendy sandals. The tall silo with greenery made the perfect spot for this look. The vines and fresh tones of nature framed Katie beautifully, allowing her natural glow to stand out.

Playful Energy on the Bridge

A quick outfit change brought Katie into cut off jean shorts and a copper-hued top. This new bridge on the property was just begging for photos, and Katie delivered. Her easy smile and playful personality came through in every shot. She lit up the space, showing how much fun a senior session can be when you simply let yourself enjoy the moment.

Elegant Moments at the Green Gate

Next, we moved to a green gate with the lush green farmland stretching out behind it. Katie wore a darling green and white leaf print dress, an elegant and feminine look that paired beautifully with the scenery. Playfully climbing on the gate, Katie created images that were whimsical yet refined, a perfect reflection of her personality.

A Passion for Softball

Finally, we turned to something that truly defines Katie, her love for softball. We created a series of casual images that highlighted her dedication to the game, along with some fun and playful shots that showed her lighter side. To finish, Katie posed lying on the ground with her hair fanned out around softballs. Her natural expressions and creativity made for a grand finale of images that were fresh, fun, and uniquely her.

Katie has been an absolute joy to photograph. Capturing her quiet beauty, her warmth, and her passion for softball was an honor. I cannot wait to see where her talents take her after high school.
