Maya is such a lovely young lady with a calm, genuine spirit that shines the moment you meet her. She has a soft grace about her and a quiet confidence that makes her easy to be around. When she described her vision for her senior portraits, she hoped for rich fall colors and the beauty of the changing season surrounding her.

This year the fall colors were late to arrive and most of the usual locations were still very green. I wanted so much to bring her vision to life, so I teamed up with another local photographer and we split up to scout several areas in search of true autumn color. After some exploring, I found a stunning location bursting with yellows, browns, deep reds, and just enough green to make it come alive. It couldn’t have been more perfect for her session.

Maya’s outfit choices fit the scenery beautifully with soft, muted tones that complemented every background we found. Her eyes sparkled as the light filtered through the trees and every image reflected her natural beauty and kind heart.

We wrapped up the session with one last image of Maya standing on a bridge with her adorable dogs, Mateo and Fynn. It’s such a sweet moment that captures her love for them perfectly and a beautiful way to end her session.

Maya plans to pursue a career in nursing. Her caring nature and calm presence will surely bring comfort to those she helps. There is something special about someone who can make others feel at ease, and Maya has that gift.
Enjoy your senior year, Maya! Make it amazing, memorable, and everything you’ve dreamed it to be.
