Nathan Hughes is a creative young man with great energy and a natural sense of style. From the moment he arrived for his senior portrait session, he brought a relaxed confidence that made the day both fun and inspiring. He started out in a comfy flannel, totally chill and ready to roll. We began near a building covered in colorful artwork, a perfect match for Nathan’s creative spirit.

While working on Nathan’s gallery, I came up with an idea to incorporate one of his childhood photos in a playful and artistic way. I designed a custom image featuring little Nathan as a cartoon-style character peeking through a painted window opening in the building. It turned out fantastic and is featured on the cover of Nathan’s Custom Signature Album.

We then made our way toward the bridge and the water for the next series of portraits. During Nathan’s Pre-Session Consultation, he mentioned a creative idea he had to show a reflection in the water of one of his childhood photos. I loved the concept and turned it into a custom art piece for his collection. The finished image will be displayed on Brilliant Metal Wall Art in his home, a beautiful reminder of how far he’s come.

Next, we captured portraits on the bridge surrounded by the warm tones of fall.
The golden leaves and glowing trees created a backdrop bursting with color. We also included a few cap and gown images, ensuring his parents would have timeless professional portraits marking this important milestone.

Then came the classic suit images. Nathan’s dad helped him with his tie, and I caught a heartfelt moment between the two that perfectly captured their bond. Once across the river, Nathan posed confidently on the bridge, sharp, stylish, and relaxed, showing every side of his personality. He truly nailed it.

As the sun began to set, the street lights came on and the sky glowed in soft evening tones. We created a few dramatic portraits featuring the chapel in the distance, symbolizing Nathan and his family’s strong faith. To finish off the evening, we took a few final images downtown, illuminated by decorative lights that gave a cool, urban edge to the end of his session.

Nathan, you were wonderful to capture and a joy to get to know. I hope your senior year is filled with creativity, faith, and unforgettable memories.

Have a great Senior Year Nathan!
